1954

The current Michael’s on Madison Avenue is opened by Aaron’s son, Michael Kosof, with the idea that “I, Michael, need more Chanel, Hermes, Prada, Louis Vuitton and other treasures. My clients value these exquisite things, and so do I.” - Michael Kosof 1954.

1986

Michael’s daughter, Laura, takes over the family business, expands to a second floor and propels consignment to new heights.

2006

Laura’s daughter, Tammy, joins the business, adds a newly designed website, creates all things “social” for the store and begins selling online.

Today

Michael’s Consignment continues to serve the most discerning and fashion-conscious women who understand value and appreciate all things beautiful.
