Michael's specializes
in consignment. People (also known as consignors) bring
us treasures to sell on their behalf. We don't own
the merchandise — we pay the consignors when their
goods sell. Sorry, but we do not rent out any of the merchandise in
our store.
The clothing and accessories at Michael's come
from all around the world. Beautiful items arrive every day. Part of the
joy of shopping at Michael's is finding a treasure
that's just for you. We accept women's clothing sizes 0–14 and typically
only have one of any item.

ALL consignments MUST have a designer label or stamp intact. We specialize in high-end designer clothing and accessories but also accept designer housewares, linens, and fine china as well as high-end gift items for men such as Hermes ties and designer watches. We also accept fine jewelry.
We take items seasonally that are clean, fresh, in perfect
condition, and are no more than two years old. The only exceptions to this
rule are Chanel,
Hermes, and Pucci items. We take items
by these designers that are more than two years old if they are in pristine
condition. We cannot guarantee that we will accept all items — we make
choices based on our knowledge of shopper preferences and our existing
inventory.
We prefer items be left with us for three months (six months for bridal gowns). However, the merchandise belongs to the consignor until it is sold and can be returned at any time with 24-hours notice. We split the proceeds with our consignors 50-50 once the item sells. An itemized list of all items we have accepted will be sent to the consignor in 3 to 5 business days.
Please note: our merchandisers must review garments in
person — sorry, we cannot make judgments based on photos. If you can’t
come to our store, you can ship items to us. Call us for more information.

We price each item we accept based on our many years of experience in the industry. Items are reduced by approximately 20% every 30 days.
Typically, we display bridal gowns for up to 6 months and reduce the price of a bridal item by 20% every 60 days.
Depending on the wishes of the consignor, items may be sent to charity or returned to the consignor at the end of the consignment period. Consignors are paid each month for items sold the previous month.
