The Pantone powers that be have spoken. Spring 2016 Pantone Colors are:

Pantone Colors Spring 2016So let’s break it down a little.
PANTONE 13-1520 Rose Quartz &
PANTONE 15-3919 Serenity

Rose Quartz and Serenity have been crowned: colors of the year. And both are subdued, relaxing and, well… serene. So with these two on top, Pantone is calling for a peaceful, mindful Spring that focuses on relaxation.

PANTONE 16-1548 Peach Echo
Peach Echo follows the serenity with a subdued version of the orange we’ve all come to love. It’s warmer, softer and friendlier.

PANTONE 19-4049 Snorkel Blue
Snorkel Blue helps to make colors like Peach Echo pop while evoking feelings of deep blue maritime vacations. I can hear the beach splashing against the sand now.

PANTONE 12-0752 Buttercup
Buttercup is one of the token lively colors of the bunch. While most of the palette calls for calmer tones, Buttercup gives us a sense of vibrancy and playfulness.

PANTONE 13-4810 Limpet Shell
Limpet Shell does not sound pretty, but the color tells a different story. Its cool, calm and collected. If it was a scent, the color would smell like freshly washed crisp laundry. It’s that clean!

PANTONE 16-3905 Lilac Gray
Lilac Gray is one of the basic/base colors every season needs. But this season’s “neutral” hangs with the softer side of things; the hint of lilac trends towards a more feminine version of the color gray.

PANTONE 17-1564 Fiesta
Fiesta is right up there with Buttercup in its ability to spice things up. Its fiery, its ferocious and its one of the hot colors for Spring 2016.

PANTONE 15-1040 Iced Coffee
Iced Coffee is the other neutral needed to complete the palette. It will help carry you from Winter to Spring and then back to Fall come September. It’s a staple!

PANTONE 15-0146 Green Flash
Green Flash is the token adventurer color in the bunch. Not everyone will wear it, nor should everyone wear it (more on “trends are not for everyone” later) but if you can pull it off, you will radiate your openness and willingness to go for it! You know what they say, Go Big or Go Home!!!

That wraps our take on the Pantone Colors for Spring 2016. Please comment below with your thoughts or questions.
