Tammy and I recently had the extreme pleasure of attending the Christian Dior exhibition at the Musée des Art Décoratifs in Paris. The exhibit celebrated 70 years of The House of Dior. The exhibition runs from July 5, 2017 through January 7, 2018. Clearly Mr. Dior was the star but the supporting cast of Yves Saint Laurent, Grazia Chiuri, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferre, John Galliano and Raf Simons could not be ignored. Over 300 haute couture creations were displayed in a most magical setting in a wing of the Louvre Museum.

Mr. Dior’s wasp waisted “New Look” (1947) – was the silhouette that brought the designer instant fame and established Paris as the center of fashion following WWII. The brilliant contributions of the designers who followed him, kept Dior relevant to this day.
The exhibit is displayed in the most extraordinary venue. Color, light, architecture and space are used to highlight the genius of Dior and his followers. Please journey with us through the stunning “Christian Dior:Couturier du Reve”.
