It’s just about a wrap on what we all look forward to while we brave the winter – the hot and humid summer!   We have two major milestones to celebrate the season, Memorial Day, which is the kickoff, and Labor Day, our Grande finale to squeeze in our white jeans and all the summer gear we forgot to wear the last few months.  Grab your favorite book and of course a glass of froze because we’ve rounded up a few must haves to make the unofficial end to summer fabulous whether you are hitting the mountains, beach or just a rooftop BBQ.  Conquer the last week in these looks we love – pop in or browse Michael's because these are just the beginning!

Those of us living in a sea of concrete know how valuable having a friend with a killer rooftop is.  It acts as a beach, backyard and social space.  This labor day, throw on a cute dress or shorts with wedges.  Go for light colors, with the sun beating down you’ll want to feel airy and light!

The Hamptons, considered NYC Part II!  City slickers pack up and shift out east to share gorgeous beachside mansions, hit the pool by day and secret society parties at night.  Channel your inner socialite with a nautical themed ensemble that shows them that you’re the captain of this party boat.  Stripes paired with solids and key colors like navy & blue will have you casual enough for a pool party yet chic enough to stroll the streets of Southampton.

BERKSHIRES

The Berkshires is just a short drive for those that want to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city and enjoy more cultured events while taking in the fresh air in nature.  With cute spots for homemade ice cream, concerts at Tanglewood and fruit picking at one of the many farms off the Great Barrington path, there is so much to do, see and wear at this home away from home for so many.  The laid back and casual vibe is perfect for the New Yorker looking to get away from the scene.  Go for comfortable yet trendy in the mountains - think prints or athleisure type outfits.  You might want to pick a look that can take you from day to night – you never know, you might hit a winery during the day and grab a delicious farm to table dinner at night.

CITY

Tons of people decide to settle here and never leave the city.  There is perks to standing your ground for a flawless holiday weekend Saturday night like unlimited available restaurant reservations,  no lines at attractions and no heavy traffic.  Pull out your sexiest outfit to hit the streets – because soon enough you’ll have a down jacket and booties on!
