Met Gala 2019 "Camp: Notes on Fashion" Red Carpet Recap
Feathers, sequins, and chandeliers - oh my! This year’s Met Gala red (or should I say pink?) carpet brought out Hollywood’s hottest and the fashion industry’s most elite. It was such a tease being a mere two blocks away from all the action happening at this year’s annual Met Gala hosted by the one and only Anna Wintour. This year’s extravagant theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion” which is inspired by an essay written by Susan Sontag in 1964. This broad theme entitles all to get as fun, creative, and as extra as possible when it comes to getting dressed. Think of Marie Antoinette’s crazy wigs and Moschino’s tv dinner cape from the spring 2019 runway collection. Today we’ll be sharing some of our favorite whimsical and outside-of-the-box looks from last night!
