Happy Birthday Chanel! Today marks Gabrielle Coco Chanel’s 138th birthday! Since starting her namesake brake in 1910, it’s no surprise that Chanel has become the iconic fashion label that it is today. Chanel herself was known for her modernizing of women’s wardrobes and giving them the higher hemline they deserved. This gave women the ability to be more mobile in the new modern world of the early 1900’s. Today, her tweed suits paired with pearls and quilted leather bags speak for themselves. Chanel we’ll always be the “crème de la crème” of luxury fashion, and we have proudly carried Chanel since our own opening in 1954. Women all over the world wear Chanel, from Paris, London, and all the way to here in New York City!
