Orange you glad it’s time for some new trends?! We’re already tired of the winter and puffy coats and clunky boots. Even though temps are just now starting to seriously drop in NYC we’re looking forward to clear blue skies and colorful fashion. Say bye bye to your basic winter whites! Move toward a more tropical color palette by embodying Pantone’s 2019 color of the year; Living Coral. This peachy-pink orange shade color is set to make a big appearance in all sorts of industries, from interior design to fashion.
There are many ways to rock this shade, from the basic to the bold.  Coral can be as vibrant as neon orange, or more muted in pastel shades. Living Coral  is also surprisingly easy to wear, as it pairs lovely with cool grey tones or other neutrals like tans and browns. To ease into the trend, try a silk scarf in the orange hue, or maybe add a pop of neon to your neutral outfit with orange earrings. Or even try an orange tinted lipstick or blush to try some on-trend beauty.
If orange is one of your favorite colors to wear, 2019 is definitely going to be your year! Look for coral-colored outerwear for now in the winter and swap it for peachy keen summer dresses for work and play.  Not really into wearing this shade of orange? Consider incorporating it into your home’s decor by adding some fresh orange roses to a vase or a bright orange mug to sip your morning coffee in! Regardless of how you decide to embody this uplifting this color this year, it is sure to brighten your daily outlook. This color is sure to energize you like a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and make you feel like it’s summer all year long. As always, you can come look for the current trends among our designer racks at Michael’s Consignment.
